Pentland Primary School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEMH Additional Resource Provision) to start as soon as possible. This is a fixed-term position until 31st August 2026, working 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days. The salary is Grade H, spinal point 14 to 17 (£22,338 to £23,458).
One Excellence Multi Academy Trust is a partnership of four schools founded in July 2017, focused on shared values, community identity, and inclusion. The Trust supports its staff with a structured health and well-being programme, including physiotherapy, nurse support, counselling, mindfulness sessions, and professional development opportunities.
The role involves:
- Providing support to pupils in the Additional Resource Provision.
- Supporting pupils across the school while adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Supervising groups and occasionally whole classes.
- Delivering high standards of nurturing and education through quality interactions.
- Being proactive, flexible, and a reliable team player.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships within the school community.
- Helping children make progress by collaborating with a supportive team and external professionals.
- Regularly providing feedback to the class teacher, SLT, and colleagues regarding children’s progress and wellbeing.
