Are you an experienced, committed and enthusiastic individual who shows a passion and flare for working with animals, looking for a new challenge with a strong customer service focus? Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for an Animal Collection Officer to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and qualifications in dealing with various companion animals, predominantly dogs, specifically with regards to securing, handling, kennelling, transportation, cleaning and feeding. Our Animal Collection Officers ensure the highest standards of welfare for animals that come into our care.
The post requires an element of weekly shift pattern working with weekend cover 1 in 4 weekends. This role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful team and wants to make a difference to the local community.
The grade on appointment will be dependant on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, with an additional shift allowance payment.
