Salary Range: SCP 3 – SCP 4 (£24,796.00 - £25,185.00 FTE) pro rata salary £8,881.00 - £9,021.00

Working Type: Part Time 15 hours 39 weeks (45.942 paid weeks)

Base: North Shore Academy, Talbot Street, Stockton on Tees, TS20 2AY

The post holder will engage in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

North Shore Academy is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and thorough individual to join our cleaning team in a secondary school environment. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene is essential for ensuring a safe, healthy, and welcoming learning environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to school cleaning schedules and protocols.
  • Ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 5:30pm
