We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Caretaker to join our popular and aspirational school. At St. Mary’s, we are an inclusive Christian family who learn and grow together. Our vision is to invest in the uniqueness of each individual so every member of our school family can flourish.

We would like a caretaker to:
- Open up school building in the morning and lock the building up securely in the evening
- Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance, including monitoring heating systems and boiler checks
- Keep the school clean and safe, including routine cleaning of carpets and toilets, and ensuring grounds are free from hazards
- Maintain security of the building, act as key holder, respond to call-outs, and support lettings when required
- Test and record fire and security alarms, maintain fire safety equipment, and follow health and safety procedures
- Look after outdoor areas, including clearing snow and ice, and assist with moving furniture and supplies
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with school policies and be flexible to carry out other duties as needed
