Contract Type: Fixed term to cover maternity leave from 1 September 2026
Salary Range: SCP4 – SCP5 (£24,404 – £24,790 FTE)
Actual Salary: £24,524 – £24,915
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 41 weeks
This role involves regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to work in our busy reception. Ideally, with experience of working with children, the post requires someone who can remain calm, communicate effectively, and manage several duties over the course of the day. The Administrator will cover maternity leave at our Ofsted‑rated Good academy and be part of a vibrant, supportive community committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of every student.
Responsibilities:
- Front‑of‑house duties for parental queries and telephone calls
- Updating information on Bromcom
- Weekly returns to the Local Authority
- Submitting requisitions and handling orders for the academy
- Assisting the PA/Office Manager with day‑to‑day running of the busy office
