We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team at Stocks Hall Andrew Smith House. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and safety of our equipment, facilities and grounds of the home. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and supervising maintenance activities to uphold high standards of operational efficiency. The ideal applicant will possess strong mechanical, electrical, DIY, and supervisory skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance around the home and equipment to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using schematics and technical manuals.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
