Responsibilities
- Work with pupils in a large SEND school, supporting a diverse intake including SEMH needs.
- Provide individualised support to facilitate curriculum engagement, emotional regulation and sensory needs.
- Apply training from the school on specific interventions and support vulnerable pupils to reach their potential.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and staff to ensure consistent care and support.
Qualifications & Experience
- Background as a Sports Coach or Youth Worker with experience building trusting relationships with pupils who may be resistant to education.
- Confident supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs, resilient approach and commitment to understanding the ‘bigger picture’.
- Passion and commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils.
