Role Overview: Due to recent expansion, and a move to a much larger site, we are seeking experienced and dedicated Warehouse Operatives to support the continued growth of our depot. This role will involve a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to offload, load, and move freight
- Check in and book shipments using our in-house system
- Unload and load freight from both company and third-party vehicles, including double-deck trailers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Perform a variety of ad hoc warehouse-related tasks as required
Essential Skills And Experience:
- Excellent Forklift Truck operating skills is a must
- Proven experience in warehouse operations
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Skills And Experience:
- A passion for physical, varied work
- AVSEC CO Trained
