We now have an opportunity for a Disrepair Officer to join our new Client Team, where you will provide a fully supportive service to our in‑house Legal Disrepair Surveyors, supporting the team on responding to disrepair claims and project managing fire damage and minor works projects. We’re looking for an organised and meticulous individual, with experience of working within a technical team. You will support the team to defend disrepair cases within a social housing environment, have awareness of Housing legislation including HHSRS, and you will be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of developing strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. Resilient, assertive and consistent, you must be driven to deliver quality services.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Collating and producing witness statement reports by interrogating IT systems to obtain related data.
  • Liaising with the Building Surveyors for scheduling appointments.
  • Being responsible for the collection and reporting of related disrepair data and performance.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Take responsibility for dealing with matters within your own authority and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Be able to work in an office environment and possess a good level of IT skills around Microsoft packages such as Word or Excel.
  • Be a great people person and able to communicate effectively.
