As an Apprentice Site Manager, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Level 4 qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn and develop practical skills in a supportive environment. Successful candidates will be expected to travel to their assigned college, training provider, or workplace as required.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of construction and maintenance projects on site
- Assisting with planning, coordination, and daily site activities
- Helping to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Developing practical skills through on-the-job training and college learning
- Following health and safety procedures, including PPE and COSHH regulations
- Working with contractors and suppliers to support efficient project delivery
- Carrying out basic inspections and supporting quality checks
- Supporting site administration and maintaining accurate records
- Building positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
- Demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn while engaging in training and development
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent customer service skills
- A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning
- Commitment to both workplace and academic learning
- Good organisation skills and ability to manage tasks effectively
- A full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain one during the apprenticeship)
- 5 GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) including Maths and English
- Previous Level 3 Construction based qualification with relevant experience in construction and the built environment.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship at SHG, you must:
- Have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for a minimum of 3 years by the start of the apprenticeship.
- Be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract.
- Applicants must not already hold the same or higher-level qualification in the same subject area.
Assessment Day
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day on the 28th July 2026.
Training & Development
You will receive both on-the-job and off-the-job training, with day-release attendance at college. A structured induction and training plan will support you throughout your apprenticeship, leading to a recognised qualification upon completion.
