Due to an anticipated vacancy in the English Department, we are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of English to join us at Stockport Grammar School from 1 January 2027.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach up to A Level. The ability or willingness to teach A Level Media Studies would be advantageous. They will contribute fully to the work of the department, including curriculum development, the review and updating of schemes of work, the creation of assessment materials, and the sharing of high‑quality teaching resources.

In addition, employees who have children in the school are eligible for a percentage remission of fees. Lunch is provided free of charge during term time and all staff are able to use the school’s sports facilities which includes use of the swimming pool.
