Location: Stockport. Employment type: Part time. Status: Permanent.

Stockport Grammar School is seeking to appoint from September 2026 (or earlier if possible) an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed individual who has the capacity to coach and deliver lessons across the school. It is essential that applicants have experience of working with children. Candidates with experience delivering sporting provision across primary and secondary ages will be at a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Coach and deliver lessons across the school.
  • Deliver sporting provision for primary and secondary age groups.
  • Use expertise to develop a broad and balanced curriculum in partnership with the PE department.
  • Support the department in maintaining the school’s reputation as a leading sporting school.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children.
  • Experience delivering sporting provision across primary and secondary ages.
  • Strong enthusiasm, commitment, and excellent coaching or playing pedigree.
  • Willingness to undergo child protection screening and Enhanced Criminal Records Check for Regulated Activity.
Working Hours

Term time only, 11.00 – 17.00 Monday‑Friday, plus Saturday mornings (3 hours).
