Stockport County FC are seeking host families who can provide accommodation for Academy players aged 16-18 years. Our ideal host family provision will be able to offer young players a stable, safe and comfortable family environment. Young players, like all young people, require support to ensure good mental health and wellbeing; for elite youth footballers, this is also imperative to their performance on the pitch. At Stockport County FC, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment for player growth and development. We want our players to fulfil their potential as people and players.
Requirements:
- You will be located within a 5-mile radius of our training facility (M31 1AE).
- You should offer good quality accommodation, including a private bedroom for the player with the relevant amenities.
- Provision of healthy nutritious meals, access to laundry, and wifi.
- Full and part-time accommodation will be required over 12 months of the year to reflect the football season.
- The willingness to accommodate players on a short-term basis throughout the season is also desirable.
