The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and hardworking staff team. We are looking for a cheerful, committed, and talented individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and well-being. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all pupils receive high-quality care, are kept safe, and experience a rich and stimulating curriculum tailored to their individual needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing school environment, supporting pupils across the school, providing short-term teacher cover, and making a real difference in children’s lives. The role is particularly well-suited for someone looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in teaching; many of our former Teaching Assistants have gone on to become qualified teachers.

You will:
- Have a passion for supporting children and families
- Be qualified to NNEB/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or willing to work towards
- Be reflective, caring and emotionally resilient
- Be confident to cover whole classes when required
- Have the ability to motivate children through good practice
- Have effective, clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Have at least a grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Have a good record of punctuality and attendance
