Hybrid: Stopford House and homeworking minimum expectation is that two days per week will be spent in the office.

Your Role: Stockport Council are recruiting a Student Project Manager to work within the Design and Technical Service, which is part of the Estate and Asset Management Team. We have a large visionary programme of capital developments across the borough covering our Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolio. This is a unique role, in that it will provide you with the opportunity to assist in project managing across a wide range of projects through various RIBA stages. You will join the team to support our Senior Project Manager and project management team, alongside engineers, building surveyors and architects, and will gain a huge amount of experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment and a vast array of projects.

About You: You will support stakeholders through the Council by providing support & advice on design and construction matters. You will work as a critical friend to external design teams to drive the best in projects.
