Salary: NJC Scale 3 Point 5 - 6 dependant on experience £25,583 to £25,989 pro rata (Actual salary £23,844.69 to £24,223.11 p.a.)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week term time only + 4 weeks

Working Pattern: Split shift

  • Mon to Thur 6 am until 10.00 am & 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm
  • Friday 6 am until 10 am & 2.30 pm until 5.30 pm

Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor post to work at High Lane Primary School. This is a very exciting time for our Trust as we grow. Four Rivers Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, online checks and clearances by the DBS.

The role will involve completion of minor repairs, daily cleaning duties, moving furniture and equipment as required and will need to assist with access, security and health & safety of the site.

Duties will include:

  • Maintaining general maintenance and repairs
  • Daily cleaning duties
  • Opening and closing the school each day and also for external letting agents if needed
  • Working alongside the Headteacher and School Business Manager to ensure accurate recording of Health and Safety records

We are looking for someone with:

  • A keen interest for maintaining our school environment to a high standard to support children's learning
  • A firm understanding of, and compliance with, safeguarding requirements
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team that looks after the safety and welfare of the site
  • An ability to work from their own initiative in recognising jobs that require attention and prioritise their daily workload
  • Physical fitness to undertake some heavy lifting, moving and handling including general portage
  • An understanding of the responsibility around the security of the school site
  • DIY skills
  • A willingness to participate in training and development
  • Take a pride in helping to maintain and develop our school grounds and outdoor learning provision
  • Be part of the friendly school team
