At Four Rivers Family of Schools we believe inclusion is at the heart of what we deliver and we are excited about making learning relevant and pertinent for all our learners. We have taken a leap of faith into a new lunchtime provision for our children in two of our schools. We are looking for a flexible and versatile individual who will help us navigate a new lunchtime offer before we expand and roll out the model wider.

Responsibilities

  • Select and order bespoke designed menus to meet nutritionally balanced requirements for two schools.
  • Use IT‑based systems to order and design menus online and meet important deadlines for meal delivery.
  • Liaise with our meal provider, schools and gather feedback from learners to provide nutritional, enjoyable and balanced lunchtime meals.
  • Manage heating, serving and portion control of meals daily in one school.
  • Work with a small team to ensure food quality and menu systems are of high standards.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • A Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.
  • Competency in managing heating, serving and portion control of meals.
  • Good IT skills to use menu design and ordering systems.
  • Flexibility and versatility to support a new lunchtime model.

Training and Support

  • Relevant and updated training around food hygiene management.
  • Technical and administrative support for wider tasks.

Employment will be by Four Rivers Trust. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
