Your Role
In this role, you’ll lead one of our Area Teams and help shape the future of development across Stockport. You’ll guide and support a talented group of planners, ensuring they feel confident, motivated and equipped to deliver a brilliant service for our residents and partners. Alongside your leadership duties, you’ll take on a small number of high‑profile or sensitive applications, offering your expertise where it matters most. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Council, provide clear professional advice, and help us deliver development that genuinely benefits our communities. It’s a role with real influence and real purpose.
