We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, to support pupils with a range of SEN needs. You should be child-centred in your approach and be able to demonstrate initiative, a willingness to be flexible and the ability to adapt calmly to ever changing situations.

Castle Hill High School is a special school for students, aged 11 – 18, with significant and complex needs. We currently have 340 students on roll. Our most recent Ofsted inspection, judged the school to be Outstanding. All students enjoy equality of opportunity, regardless of gender, race, ability, social background etc. Our aim is to provide an education which is relevant and worthwhile, preparing our students for the world of work and ensuring that they leave us as caring young adults who have developed positive attitudes and values and are respectful of others.

All students at Castle Hill have Education Health and Care Plans. Students’ specific needs include: communication and social interaction difficulties, cognition and learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.
