The predicted salary is between 28598 - 31022 £ per year.

Scale 5 (£28,598 - £31,022), 37 hours a week, full‑time, temporary (3 years). Hybrid: Fred Perry House with some homeworking after induction.

Responsibilities

The role is part of the Adult Social Care Front Door Team and focuses on being the first point of contact for enquiries. The successful candidate will provide a responsive and effective service, handling all customer contacts in a professional and appropriate manner. Specialising in the referral and information needs related to the Making Every Adult Matter programme.

Qualifications

  • Self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Previous customer‑service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment clearances, including a Disclosure and Barring Service check. Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence but this role does not currently qualify.
