Overview

We are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an assessment, support planning and review service, underpinned by professional knowledge to ensure that:
    • Vulnerable people are safeguarded and supported in managing risk.
    • Person-centred outcomes and support requirements are identified.
    • People are encouraged and enabled to live healthy and independent lives for as long as possible.
  • Undertake all duties in line with Care Act 2014.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the health, early help, community and voluntary sectors ensuring that person-centred outcomes are met in ways that utilise available resources as effectively as possible.
  • Work within organisational policy and legislative requirements. The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances, including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Qualifications

You will be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. You will have 2 years post-qualifying experience and have completed the ASYE year.
