Vale View Primary School is looking for enthusiastic and effective class teachers to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a primary school
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice
  • Excellent classroom practitioner with a child-centered vision of education
  • High expectations, excellent behaviour management skills, and ability to establish positive adult-pupil relationships
  • Experience supporting children who have special educational needs
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Commitment, motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility
  • Enjoyment of working as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in partnership with parents, staff and outside agencies
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding
  • Commitment to after school clubs and activities and the broad curriculum
