Vale View Primary School is looking for enthusiastic and effective class teachers to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a primary school
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice
- Excellent classroom practitioner with a child-centered vision of education
- High expectations, excellent behaviour management skills, and ability to establish positive adult-pupil relationships
- Experience supporting children who have special educational needs
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Commitment, motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility
- Enjoyment of working as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in partnership with parents, staff and outside agencies
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding
- Commitment to after school clubs and activities and the broad curriculum
