The Pendlebury Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit that has received 6 Outstanding Ofsted Judgements. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated caretaker.

Your Role:

  • Be responsible for the security of the premises including the correct operation of the intruder and fire alarms and key holder duties.
  • Undertake a programme of health & safety checks in order to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Be an integral part of the Centre working in close partnership with all staff.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs during the Centre day.
  • Manage the work of contractors on site and monitor services provided externally.
  • Ensure all of the grounds and garden areas are safe and maintained.
  • Support the upgrading and improvement of the whole Centre.
  • In the event of the cleaner being absent, take on the daily cleaning of the Centre.
