The predicted salary is between 12844 - 13049 £ per year.

Hours: 18 hours (two posts) at Bramall Hall, including alternate weekends; 22.5 hours (one post) at Hat Works and Staircase House, including Saturdays. Permanent role. Pay ranges: £12,844 – £13,049 for 18 hours; £16,055 – £16,311 for 22.5 hours, inclusive of increments for evening and weekend work.

Your Role

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and creative people to join our team. Museums Assistants are the first point of contact for all visitors to our museums. Main duties include welcoming visitors, answering enquiries, handling bookings, delivering activities, and engaging visitors with our collections in person and online.

About You

You should have excellent customer service and organisational skills, and be able to assist with day‑to‑day security, maintenance and operation of the site. You should also have experience delivering activities, demonstrations and tours, and handling retail sales and other financial transactions.

Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence, but this role does not currently qualify for sponsorship.
