Salary Grade: NJC Scale 4, Points 7 to 11 – £26,403 to £28,142 FTE
Actual Pro Rata Salary: £18,921.13 to £20,167.30

We are currently looking to add to the amazing team at school with a number of teaching assistants.
We are a Special Secondary School (11-19 years) for pupils with Severe / Profound Learning Difficulties. Successful candidates will ideally have experience however full training to support young people with a wide range additional needs, including those with sensory impairment, complex medical needs or social interaction difficulties will be available. Further training for career development is available and is fundamental to what we offer as a school.
The role offers the possibility of working across two sites within Stockport, the community and local facilities.
All members of staff work within a very supportive multi-disciplinary team, and we strongly encourage staff development and whole school team work. There will be opportunities for the successful applicant to undertake more paid work in the school at after school clubs and the holiday club.
