Position: Teaching Assistant Level 3 and Midday Assistant
- Teaching Assistant: Scale 3 point 5 – 6 (Hourly rate: £13.26 – £13.47; annual salary £16,263.39 approx.)
- Midday Assistant: Scale 1 point 2 3 (Hourly rate: £12.65 – £12.85; annual salary £1,410.48 approx.)
Hours:
- Teaching Assistant – 27.5 hours per week (Part Time).
- Midday Assistant – 2.5 hours per week (Part Time).
- Play Worker – hours negotiable.
Term time only, Monday to Friday. Permanent. Start date: September 2026.
Your Role: We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work across a number of year groups, as well as to provide midday support at lunchtimes. The successful candidate will also work 1:1 with a child with specific needs, ideally with experience working with children with Down Syndrome and Diabetes, though training can be provided.
About You: You will need to be committed to working with children, have a positive approach and work well as part of a team. You will need to be flexible, resilient and be able to form strong relationships with adults and children. You should also have an understanding of behaviour management skills.
