Hours: TA - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday; MDA 2.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Fixed Term, Term Time only

Salary: TA - Scale 2, point 4 - £25,185 FTE; MDA Scale 1, point 3 - £24,796 FTE (salary will be pro rata to part time, term time hours)

The governors of this successful and happy Christian school are looking to appoint an exceptional teaching assistant to support us on our journey to outstanding. The successful candidate will work closely alongside our staff team providing learning support with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Support learning with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan, in collaboration with the staff team.
  • Deliver interventions and support children at KS2.
  • Be a positive, inspiring role model with high expectations and the ability to enthuse and motivate pupils.
  • Be open to challenges and contribute to upholding the Christian ethos and distinctiveness of the school.
  • Be caring, supportive and committed to raising standards.
  • Show empathy and understanding with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and well-behaved learning environment.
  • Be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure all children can achieve success.
Qualifications and Qualities:
  • Experience in delivering interventions.
  • Experience in supporting children at KS2.
  • High expectations of achievement and behaviour.
  • Ability to inspire, be creative, innovative and motivated.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding duties in line with policy; uphold the school ethos.
  • Empathy and understanding with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Positive team player with a caring approach and strong professional standards.
