Your Role
Vale View Primary School currently has exciting vacancies for enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistants who have a passion for ensuring children receive high quality education and care. The ideal candidates will have experience of working in a primary school and hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this. You will be predominantly working within our Early Years Foundation Stage with children with special educational needs and will work with our caring and dedicated team to support children’s learning and social development by providing high quality learning opportunities and personal care.
About You
- You will hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this.
- You will have successful experience of working in a school setting.
- You will have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum.
- You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and have experience of working to support children who have special educational needs.
- You will have excellent literacy (Level 2 qualification), numeracy and IT skills.
- You will be committed, motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and emotionally resilient.
- You will enjoy working as part of a team.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with parents, staff and outside agencies.
- You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding.
