St Simon’s Catholic Primary School seeks to appoint a highly skilled and conscientious Teaching Assistant who is a dedicated and compassionate educator with the ability to inspire young minds. The role supports pupils' academic and spiritual journey, working closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality interventions and support pupils with diverse needs, while helping maintain the school’s distinctive Catholic ethos.

Responsibilities

  • Support Learning: Lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy to bridge learning gaps.
  • Empower Pupils: Work with all children, including those with specific educational needs (SEND), ensuring they have full access to school life.
  • Foster Faith: Support the Catholic ethos of the school through participation in daily prayer, assemblies, and the spiritual development of pupils.
