Post: Teaching Assistant

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.15am - 3.45pm), term time only plus 5 inset days

Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2026 (with the possibility of this being extended)

The Governors, Staff and children of St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Reddish wish to recruit a Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of a teaching assistant role
  • Has high expectations and demonstrates a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best possible outcomes for our children
  • Has high expectations of the behaviour and attitudes of the children
  • Will support the Catholic faith of the school
  • Has a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Is self-motivated and able to work cooperatively as part of a team
