St Simon’s Catholic Primary School is a warm, welcoming school where Christ is the inspiration for all that we do. We are seeking a creative and dedicated Reception class teacher to join our EYFS team and cover a period of maternity leave. As our Reception teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, both indoor and outdoor, that inspire a love of learning and help our students achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a teacher who will:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, including phonics.
- Be passionate about creating a vibrant, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Have high expectations for attainment, progress, and behaviour.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
