The Governors of St. Simon’s Catholic Primary School seek to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and patient Level 2 Teaching Assistant, who is passionate about giving children the best start to their education. They wish to appoint someone who will play a pivotal role in creating a secure and stimulating environment where our youngest learners can flourish academically, socially, and spiritually, supporting pupils with diverse needs, and who will live and breathe our mission of striving to be the very best that they can be.
The successful candidate will be welcomed into a team committed to continually raising standards and upholding the distinctive ethos of this Catholic, friendly, inclusive school and will work under the guidance of the EYFS Lead and Class Teacher to support the delivery of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
- Support Learning: Work alongside the Class Teacher to deliver engaging phonics, literacy, and numeracy activities.
- Foster Faith: Support the Catholic ethos of our school through daily prayer, reflection, and living out our Gospel values.
- Create Environments: Help maintain an inspiring indoor and outdoor learning space where "play with purpose" is the priority.
- Observe & Record: Use a keen eye to track pupil progress and contribute to learning journals.
