Overview

The highways team at Stockport Council maintains around 1,000km of road with drainage infrastructure, street furniture and road lining. We are looking for an Engineer / Transportation Officer in the Network Asset Maintenance team within the Capital Delivery Service. The successful applicant will have experience of working with a GIS system to support the delivery of highway and street lighting maintenance activities and strategic planning.

The post holder will assist with data capture and reporting, set up GIS projects relating to street lighting and highway maintenance assets and gather asset related information for reports and plans. Flexible working arrangements are in place.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience of preparing accurate records & reports, working to strict deadlines, monitoring performance information, liaising with other highway teams and key stakeholders.
