Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile individual to support the personal development of our students, delivering small group sessions across the Enrichment and Vocational curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Lead small group sessions across various subjects using teacher‑provided planning to build student confidence and practical skills.
- Be willing to deploy across other departments as student cohorts change, delivering high‑impact therapeutic support to vulnerable learners.
- Provide empathy and support for students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in a challenging environment.
- Ensure a safe and upbeat environment for small groups, working with well‑trained, experienced staff.
- Support safeguarding and promote the welfare of children and young people, as per school policy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Unqualified Teacher or HLTA‑equivalent qualification.
- Proactive professional dedicated to delivering therapeutic support to vulnerable learners.
- Experience working with students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties is desirable.
- Successful candidates must accept satisfactory pre‑employment checks, including a DBS check.
