Posting Location: Aquinas College, Stockport, Cheshire.

Job Summary: Provide high‑quality BSL interpretation for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing student in a Sixth Form setting, ensuring full linguistic access to curriculum, social environment and extracurricular activities. Act as the linguistic bridge between the student, peers and academic staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver BSL interpretation services up to 35 hours per week, term time only.
  • Support student access to curriculum, social and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with academic staff and peers to facilitate communication.

Qualifications & Experience: Candidate must possess the required qualifications and experience as specified in the person specification, and will be assessed on skills and experience. The post falls under the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association (SFCA) Support Staff Pay Scale.
