The Governors of Freshfield Nursery School wish to appoint an experienced and motivated practitioner for the role Pastoral Support Lead.

Freshfield Nursery School serves a vibrant and inclusive community. We are a nursery dedicated to the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our pupils.

Are you a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate individual, passionate about supporting the well-being and personal development of pupils and their families? We are recruiting a Pastoral and Family Support Officer to join our staff team.

In this vital role, you will provide essential support to our school team, taking prompt action on pastoral and safeguarding issues; liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and staff. You\'ll manage referrals, follow up on cases and collaborate with external agencies. Additionally, you\'ll deliver impactful intervention and pupil support programs to foster excellent behaviour, positive attitudes, and a supportive school ethos that prioritises the well-being of both pupils and staff.

We are looking for someone who:
is nurturing and supportive
has experience of delivering interventions
can foster successful relationships with parents and carers
is willing to become a Designated Safeguarding Lead
has excellent communication skills
