Permanent Location: Stockport

Your role: You will be working with a group of learners as they progress their journey on the 12 Week Team programme. From recruitment of learners to the end of the programme, you will be working closely with a Team Manager and other GMFRS staff to provide an engaging, challenging fun programme designed to inspire and motivate young people aged 16-25. Based in Stockport, you will be at one of our long-standing team locations at the heart of a community serving Tameside, East Manchester and Glossop.

About you:

  • You will have experience of delivering portfolio-based learning programmes.
  • Project planning and budget monitoring.
  • Standardisation and quality assurance process.
  • Practical experience of safeguarding vulnerable young people and adults.
  • Supporting training and education for learners from a range of backgrounds.
  • D1 driving qualification is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Able to attend 3 residential programmes (3-4 nights each programme) per academic year.
  • Ability to work GM wide.
