The Headteacher, Governors and children at Alexandra Park Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our successful and friendly school. We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants looking to progress in their careers in a rich learning environment where their professional development will be prioritised. We also welcome applicants who are enthusiastic and have a passion for supporting children through providing them with the highest possible standards of care and academic support.
The successful candidate will initially support Year 4, providing confidence across all curriculum areas, strong numeracy and English skills, and delivering targeted interventions – whether social and emotional or academic – tailored to the strengths and passions of the team.
Alexandra Park Primary School is a Research School for Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and is part of a national network of 16 primary schools that lead education research and deliver training for the EEF on key aspects of education, such as metacognition, early literacy, and developing teaching assistants. Our commitment to children and staff was recognised by OFSTED, where we were awarded an Outstanding grade in all areas. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers share this commitment, and the successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
