Your Role

The Pendlebury Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit with 6 Outstanding Ofsted Judgements. Seeking a highly motivated caretaker. Responsible for security of premises, correct operation of intruder and fire alarms, and key holder duties. Conduct programme of health & safety checks to ensure compliance with legislation. Work in close partnership with all staff. Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs during the Centre day; manage work of contractors and monitor external services. Ensure all grounds and garden areas are safe and maintained. Support upgrading and improvement of the whole Centre. In event of cleaner absence, take on daily cleaning of the Centre.
