Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5 if applicable).
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a love of languages and cultural understanding.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  • Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and trips.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in one or more modern foreign languages (e.g. French, Spanish, German).
  • Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for all students.
  • Works collaboratively as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community.
