We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and forward-thinking Teacher of History, with the ability to teach Geography and/or Religious Education to join our committed and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and motivate students, delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their practice in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
