We are working with an innovative SaaS business that is scaling rapidly and looking to add a Svelte Developer to its established, collaborative engineering team. This is a key front-end role focused on enhancing a high-performance customer-facing platform used by a wide range of B2B clients.
The ideal candidate will be confident in building modern single-page applications, passionate about creating great user experiences, and keen to contribute to a fast-moving and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain responsive, scalable features using Svelte and Tailwind CSS
- Collaborate with back-end developers and product teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Consume and integrate REST APIs into the front-end application
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices
- Conduct and participate in regular code reviews to maintain high standards and encourage team learning
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Mentor junior developers and support the team’s ongoing technical development
- Strong commercial experience building SPAs with Svelte
- Solid knowledge of Tailwind CSS
- Proven ability to work with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E)
- Confident using Git for version control, including managing branches and resolving merge conflicts
- Exposure to back-end development, ideally with PHP/Laravel or .NET/C#
- Experience with Docker in a development context
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
- Understanding of the print or direct mail industry is a bonus
