Bristol Area (Hybrid β 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
We're partnered with an innovative engineering business developing cutting-edge hardware solutions used within highly regulated, mission-critical environments.
This is a senior technical position where you'll take ownership of electronic and electrical hardware from concept through to production, helping shape the next generation of products while mentoring other engineers.
You'll be responsible for
- Leading the design and development of electronic and electrical hardware
- PCB design, schematic capture and product development
- Hardware testing, validation and qualification
- Designing for EMC and safety compliance
- Supporting products through manufacture
- Producing technical documentation
- Researching emerging technologies
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
We're looking for experience in
- Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- PCB Design (Altium Designer preferred)
- EMC & Safety Standards
- Product lifecycle from concept through manufacture
- Laboratory testing
- Technical leadership / mentoring
