We are working with an established Manchester-based digital marketing agency that is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive outbound growth and generate new client revenue. The business has built a strong reputation over many years delivering SEO, paid media and performance marketing services for well-known brands. They are now looking for a commercially driven new business hunter who enjoys prospecting, pitching and closing deals within the digital marketing space.
The Role
This is a true outbound business development role responsible for building pipeline and converting new client relationships. You will take ownership of prospecting, discovery, pitching and closing new clients across the agency’s service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and managing a targeted outbound pipeline
- Prospecting through cold email, cold calling and LinkedIn outreach
- Running discovery calls and qualifying opportunities
- Presenting digital marketing solutions including SEO and Paid Media
- Developing proposals and negotiating commercial terms
- Closing new clients and ensuring a smooth transition into delivery teams
- Maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and CRM discipline
