A growing digital marketing agency based in Manchester, specialising in SEO, Paid Media and Digital PR. Following a period of growth and internal evolution, the business is continuing to invest into its SEO capability and is now looking to strengthen its technical offering.

This is a hands-on Technical SEO role focused on identifying, diagnosing and resolving technical SEO issues across a range of client websites. You will work closely with account managers, developers and content teams to ensure strong technical SEO foundations across all campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the detail and becoming a technical specialist within a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed technical SEO audits across multiple client websites
  • Identify and resolve issues relating to crawlability, indexing and site structure
  • Work with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations
  • Support site migrations, redirects and technical SEO projects
  • Improve site performance, including Core Web Vitals
  • Analyse performance data to identify technical opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best practice is followed
Ideal Background
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a technical SEO-focused role
  • Strong experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC
  • Good understanding of: Site architecture, Indexing and crawlability, Page speed / Core Web Vitals
  • Experience working alongside developers (HTML/CSS/JS understanding beneficial)
  • Agency experience preferred
