A growing technology business is looking to appoint a DevOps Engineer to support and scale its cloud infrastructure and deployment environments across a number of production and research-focused platforms. The organisation operates within a highly data-driven and regulated environment, with engineering teams focused on building scalable cloud-native systems used by global customers.
The Role
This role will focus on maintaining, improving, and automating infrastructure and deployment processes across development and production systems. The successful candidate will work closely with software engineering and technical teams to improve reliability, security, observability, and deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve AWS cloud infrastructure
- Manage Kubernetes environments in production
- Support and optimise CI/CD pipelines
- Manage infrastructure as code environments using Terraform/OpenTofu
- Improve monitoring, observability, security, and reliability practices
- Support deployment and infrastructure requirements across multiple internal teams
- Assist with scalable deployment strategies across development and production environments
Required Experience
- Commercial DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE experience
- Experience working within AWS environments
- Infrastructure as Code tooling experience (Terraform/OpenTofu preferred)
- Monitoring and logging tooling experience such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or CloudTrail
- Scripting experience with Bash or similar
- Exposure to ML infrastructure or deployment tooling
- Experience within highly regulated or version-controlled environments
- Experience producing maintainable and production-grade infrastructure solutions
