The Opportunity
We are looking to speak with experienced Python-focused Data Engineers who enjoy working within complex, data-rich environments and are motivated by solving meaningful technical challenges. The role combines elements of:
- scalable data infrastructure
- machine learning data preparation

- healthcare and imaging datasets
- regulated clinical data delivery
Depending on background and strengths, there is flexibility to align individuals more closely to either:
- AI / scientific data engineering
- operational clinical pipeline engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Work with large-scale healthcare, imaging, and clinical datasets
- Improve data quality, automation, reproducibility, and operational efficiency
- Support machine learning and AI-driven workflows
- Collaborate across engineering, scientific, infrastructure, and operations teams
- Contribute to scalable cloud-based data platforms
- Help improve and automate complex data processing workflows

What We’re Looking For
- Strong commercial Python engineering experience
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- Strong understanding of scalable infrastructure and data processing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to understand wider business and healthcare context, not just pipeline delivery
- Experience operating within complex or regulated environments
Highly Desirable
- Healthcare, biotech, medtech, or scientific platform experience
- Imaging data exposure (CT, HRCT, DICOM)
- Machine learning or AI infrastructure exposure
- Kubernetes and infrastructure tooling experience
- Experience with reproducibility, data quality, and operational scalability
- Bioinformatics, genomics, or scientific computing backgrounds
