Business Analyst – Business Transformation & Change

The Opportunity

Stockford Recruitment is partnered with an established and growing UK financial business to recruit a Business Analyst.

The business is going through an exciting period of growth and transformation, with ongoing acquisitions, investment in technology and a focus on improving how teams, systems and processes work together.

We're looking for a Business Analyst with approximately 2–4 years' experience who can confidently engage with stakeholders, understand business challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.

You don't need to come from wealth management or financial advice.

We're far more interested in your Business Analysis experience, communication skills and ability to build relationships across different levels of a business.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, identify requirements and recommend improvements.
  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
  • Map existing processes, identify inefficiencies and design improved future-state workflows.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Act as a bridge between business teams, technology colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Support business transformation projects, including systems improvements, process changes and operational integration.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured documentation that technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand.
  • Support testing, UAT, implementation and the successful adoption of business changes.
  • Challenge existing processes constructively and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 2–4 years' experience working as a Business Analyst or in a closely related business change role.
  • Practical experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate across all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis and identifying business improvements.
  • The ability to facilitate meetings, ask the right questions and challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • A proactive, organised approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, financial advice or another regulated industry.
  • Exposure to business transformation, organisational change or acquisition integration projects.
  • Experience with Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio or similar.
  • Experience supporting UAT, system implementations or technology-led change initiatives.

What Makes This Opportunity Interesting?

This isn't a role where you'll simply be documenting requirements and passing them on.

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to meaningful business transformation and help shape how a growing organisation operates.

With the business continuing to expand, there's plenty of scope to get involved in varied projects, influence decisions and develop your career within Business Analysis and change.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of BA experience who's ready to take on greater responsibility and make a visible impact.
