We are looking for an experienced, professional Food & Beverage Manager to join our award-winning team at Stobo Castle Health Spa. Stobo Castle Health Spa is a family-run business nestled among the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside, located just outside the town of Peebles.
You will lead and manage our three F&B areas within Stobo Castle Health Spa – The Dining Rooms, The Courtyard Cafe and The Cocktail Lounge – working closely with Management to continually enhance and achieve excellent service standards for our guests.
What we are looking for:
- A highly motivated candidate possessing an immense sense of pride in their work, and meticulous about delivering the highest standard for our guests.
- Passionate in leading and inspiring a team through coaching, training, and positive communication to ensure we deliver exceptional services consistently, and our team develops and grows in skills and ability.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Your role will include:
- Managing the administration of the Food and Beverage Department including rotas, processing payroll, forecasting, running reports.
- Managing recruitment and team management including interviews, inductions, appraisals, training, health and safety.
- Managing financials including working within budgets, stock management, forecasting revenue and costs, product performance reporting.
- Working closely with our Executive Head Chef and Kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of services.
- Working with the Directors and Heads of Departments to meet and deliver Company objectives and attending Management Meetings.
- Welcoming and interacting with our guests with a warm, positive and professional attitude to meet and exceed expectations.
