Stobbarts Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
- Install new electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Install electrical equipment, such as switches, circuit breakers, and junction boxes.
- Connect wires and cables to electrical components and machines.
- Measure and secure electrical wiring in structural and non-structural areas.
- Connect wires to battery-powered equipment.
- Connect wires to fuel-powered equipment.
- Test electrical devices and systems before each use.
- Ensure that wiring is secure enough to withstand weather conditions.
- Replace old wiring with new wiring when necessary.
- Install safety devices on circuits to prevent accidents or fires.
- Inspect machinery for working order and replace broken or faulty parts when necessary.
- Install industrial machinery, including grinders, presses, lathes, mills, saws, and other cutting tools.
- Install industrial control panels.
- Assist in the installation of industrial machinery on poles or transmission lines when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Qualified electrician (18th Edition & City & Guilds 2391/2395 desirable but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, motivated, and team-focused.
